Harrington Starr has partnered with an innovative financial technology firm transforming how investment and financial services organisations manage and leverage complex data.
They are looking to hire a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineering Lead to lead a client-facing engineering pod, combining technical delivery, team leadership and commercial ownership. This is a true player-coach role, where you will remain close to the technology and client engagements while helping shape delivery standards, processes and the growth of a newly established function.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years' experience in financial services technology
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and/or Python, data platforms and cloud-native technology
- Strong understanding of the full trade lifecycle across front, middle and back office
- Proven experience delivering complex, client-facing technology projects
- Previous technical leadership experience, including mentoring and developing engineers
- Experience working with asset managers, asset owners or asset servicing organisations is highly desirable
- Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to act as a trusted technical advisor
- Interest in applying AI and LLM tooling to improve engineering delivery and client outcomes
