Full Stack Engineer
Location – London or US (NYC or Chicago)
Tech Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, CI/CD, Terraform/CDK
REMOTE ROLE – MUST BE BASED IN LONDON, UK OR US (NYC OR CHICAGO)
Harrington Starr has partnered with an exciting Neo Bank building an enterprise platform focused on helping Digital Banking and Set up of Payments and Company bank accounts for Individuals who look to relocate overseas in the US.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an Scale Up business based in the US or LDN and take real ownership across the full stack — from backend architecture and cloud infrastructure to customer-facing product interfaces.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
• Develop and iterate on modern React-based product interfaces
• Design, manage and optimise AWS cloud
• Implement CI/CD processes
• Design PostgreSQL schemas
• Build integrations with third-party systems and external APIs
• Leverage AI and LLM tooling to improve development workflows and platform capabilities
Key Requirements:
• 5+ years of software engineering experience across the full stack
• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Strong React experience building and owning production UIs
• Hands-on AWS experience,
• Strong understanding of CI/CD,
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with AI/LLM integrations or regulated environments is advantageous
