Harrington Starr is partnering with an innovative leader in capital markets technology to identify a highly motivated sales professional for a pivotal role based in North America. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned individual looking to lead the expansion of cutting-edge electronic trading solutions within the US credit and repo markets. Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a comprehensive sales pipeline from scratch, with an outbound-driven approach and minimal inbound activity. 
  • Target regional US banks and Tier 2 financial institutions across credit and repo trading desks. 
  • Develop and nurture relationships at the senior level, including C-suite executives and desk heads, to drive new logo acquisition. 
  • Position the company's electronic trading platform as a challenger to established market leaders.
  • Represent the firm's technology at industry events and fixed income forums to strengthen market presence. 
  • Collaborate closely with European product teams to relay market insights and contribute to the go-to-market strategy.

Profile:

  • Extensive background in enterprise software sales, specifically sell-side fixed income electronic trading platforms. 
  • Proven network and relationships with US bank trading desks.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder, long-cycle enterprise deals. 
  • Self-starter with an outbound-heavy sales style, capable of building a pipeline independently. 
  • Based in North America, preferably within the US, with a strong understanding of US credit and repo markets. 
  • Experience engaging at senior levels on market structure discussions and workflow automation solutions. 
  • Ideal candidates will have a track record of selling into US credit and repo trading desks.
