Schroders' London HQ fills up with guests eager to hear from pioneering DE&I voices in the Financial Technology space.
Celebrating the release of Nadia Edwards-Dashti's book, FinTech Women Walk the Talk.
Last month, over 200 people gathered at the London Wall venue to walk the talk for change across the industry. The illustrious panel, hosted by Penny Hope of Schroders, featured Mary Agbesanwa of Seccl, Emanuelle Mathey of Schroders, Simon Schofield of Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Jeni Trice of Get with the Program.
The panel discussion, which lasted an hour, allowed each panellist to share their inspiring DE&I stories which were then followed by audience-led questions submitted in real-time. The atmosphere that filled the room was awe-inspiring. It truly felt like everyone there was determined to understand and execute the meaning of walking the talk for change.
Guests were then able to network and grab a bite to eat, courtesy of Schroders, in the foyer. The space was buzzing as people discussed with one another their pledges following the talk and how they can take action to advocate for change.
From the launch of her 19% List and now to this book, it’s safe to say Nadia is a hugely influential figure in building a diverse future of FinTech. Don’t hesitate to reach out to her for all your DEI hiring enquiries.
Thank you to all who attended the launch, we are beyond proud of Nadia for this incredible achievement.
