Quantitative Developer
Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: £55,000–£70,000 + discretionary bonus
Sarasin & Partners is looking for a Quantitative Developer to join its centralised Quant team, working across quantitative research, investment data and software development.
The Opportunity
This is a broad technical role within a small quantitative team, working closely with researchers to develop the data infrastructure, tools and analytics that support investment research across the business.
The role is particularly suited to someone with strong Python and data engineering skills who is interested in developing their understanding of financial markets and quantitative research.
The Role
You will work across a range of technical and quantitative projects, including:
• Building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
• Working with financial, market and investment datasets
• Developing tools and infrastructure to support quantitative research
• Using Python and SQL to process, structure and analyse data
• Working with quantitative researchers to productionise research and analytical processes
• Developing and improving internal platforms, tools and applications
About You
We're looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals, a quantitative or analytical mindset and an interest in financial markets.
You will ideally have:
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with SQL
• Experience building ETL processes, data pipelines or backend systems
• Experience working with financial, market or other complex datasets
• Strong data processing and automation skills
• A technical, quantitative or STEM background
