Junior Account Manager
London
£50,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + bonus + benefits
This is a scaling capital markets technology business backed by a leading growth investor. The platform supports investor relations, corporate access and capital markets teams, and a recent acquisition has significantly widened what they offer clients.
They're now growing the customer success team with two new hires to keep pace with the growth in client base.
What you'll do
  • Own and grow a portfolio of 10–12 client accounts, tiered by account size
  • Drive ARR growth and increase total contract value, including converting shorter-term agreements into longer, multi-year renewals
  • Identify and flag cross-sell opportunities within your accounts, working alongside sales colleagues on larger opportunities while staying closely involved in the client relationship
  • Partner closely with a dedicated product specialist on technical configuration and training, building enough product knowledge yourself to accurately capture client requirements
  • Monitor and report on account health across retention, client satisfaction (NPS), product engagement and relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Build strong working relationships across sales, product and leadership to get the best outcomes for your accounts
  • Present account updates directly to senior leadership as required

What they're looking for
  • 2–3 years' experience in a customer-facing role such as account management, customer success or client services
  • Exposure to sales research, corporate access workflows or investor-facing processes is an advantage
  • Some experience working alongside a sales function (e.g. lead generation or deal support) is beneficial, though closed deals are not required
  • Background with financial data, corporate access or investor relations platforms is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable working across multiple departments
  • Resilient and thick-skinned, with the confidence to engage directly with demanding senior stakeholders
  • Self-starting and reliable, able to follow through on commitments without close supervision
  • A degree from a strong university is a plus, but not essential where experience is strong
