Business Development Sales Executive
Location: West London (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000–£80,000 + Commission
A rapidly growing technology business is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join its expanding sales team. The company develops a market-leading SaaS platform that powers payments, point-of-sale, and commercial operations for some of the UK's most recognisable live events, sporting venues, festivals, and entertainment destinations.
Following exceptional year-on-year growth, they are investing in their commercial function and are looking for an experienced new business sales professional to help drive the next phase of expansion.
The Role
This is a pure new business position focused on winning new customers across the events and venue technology market. You'll take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects and building pipeline through to product demonstrations, commercial negotiations and closing new business.
Working closely with a high-performing commercial team, you'll target organisations across live events, stadiums, arenas, festivals, theatres and multi-vendor hospitality environments.
Key Responsibilities

Generate and develop new business opportunities across the events and venue sector.

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close.

Build relationships with senior commercial and operational stakeholders.

Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.

Represent the business at industry events, conferences and customer meetings.
Requirements
We're looking for candidates with experience selling into the events, payments or venue technology ecosystem.
You'll ideally have experience from one or more of the following areas:

Point of Sale (POS) technology

Payments or payment technology
-
Venue technology
-
Ticketing technology
-
Hospitality technology
-
Integrated software platforms supporting the events industry
You should also have:

At least 5 years' B2B commercial sales experience.

A proven track record of winning new business.

Experience managing complex sales cycles.

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach.
