Market Data

Amsterdam / Paris / London

£95,000 - £110,000 + 50% bonus + benefits

A specialist financial markets data business with a unique regulatory mandate and pan-European reach is building out its commercial function. This is a small, ambitious organisation at an inflection point, well-capitalised, institutionally backed, and focused on solving a structural problem that the industry has been wrestling with for years.

The Role
A market data expert. You will own the commercial market data function from day one: leading policy renewals, driving fee negotiations, and developing new business through a network built within the market data industry. You will need deep, practitioner-level knowledge of market data licensing, policies, and fee structures.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Owning all market data policy renewals and fee negotiations across the organisation's counterparty base
  • Driving business development through established relationships across the market data ecosystem
  • Serving as the internal SME on licensing frameworks and commercial market data strategy
  • Shaping commercial positioning as the business enters its next phase of growth
  • Representing the firm at European industry events and in senior client and partner conversations
What You'll Bring
  • Proven, hands-on expertise in market data - licensing, fee structures, policies, and the vendor/exchange landscape
  • An active, commercially leverageable network within the market data industry
  • The interpersonal qualities to work closely and effectively within a small, high-trust team environment
  • Multilingual capability is a genuine advantage: Dutch, French, Italian, or Spanish speakers particularly welcome
  • Awareness of the evolving European regulatory landscape around market data
The Environment
Compact team, close culture, and real purpose behind what they're building. The work matters and the team reflects that. Hybrid working, no rigid in-office expectations, and travel shaped around commercial need. Role can be based in London, Amsterdam or Paris. A second UK-based option may emerge subject to a regulatory decision expected in late summer.
