Senior Sales Executive - Capital Markets Technology (EMEA)

Location: Remote (EMEA)
Salary: £90,000–£120,000 base + uncapped commission (10% of revenue generated)

A rapidly growing financial technology business is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive growth across its Capital Markets client base. This is a consultative, relationship-led role focused on expanding existing strategic accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities across the EMEA region.

The successful candidate will inherit a portfolio of established, tier-one financial institution relationships, with significant opportunity to generate revenue through account expansion and cross-selling initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic Capital Markets accounts across EMEA.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies to increase revenue within existing clients.
  • Identify, engage, and win new business opportunities across the region.
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships within financial institutions.
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles from initial engagement through to close.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, client challenges, and competitive dynamics.

Experience Required

  • Proven track record in Capital Markets technology sales.
  • Solutions-led sales experience preferred over product-only sales backgrounds.
  • Experience selling into banks, brokerages, trading firms, or other financial institutions.
  • Strong relationship management and business development capabilities.
  • Existing network within FX markets would be highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrable success in managing enterprise sales cycles and achieving revenue targets.
