£60,000–£70,000 base + uncapped commission (2x OTE)

This is a new business “hunter” role within a well-established, global fintech firm delivering enterprise technology and consulting solutions to the alternative investment industry.

You will be joining a well-established firm (1,000+ employees, 200+ institutional clients globally) who are now heavily investing in UK/European growth, hiring a number of commercially driven salespeople to win new logos across hedge funds, private equity firms, and asset managers.

The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for driving new revenue across a broad, modular platform spanning:
  • Data management & data platforms
  • Reconciliation & reporting
  • Treasury & investment operations
  • Regulatory & investor reporting
  • Front-to-back office technology solutions
  • Outsourcing / managed services

Deals range from fast-cycle SaaS (£50k+) through to multi-year enterprise engagements (7-figure TCV, 12–18 month cycles).

You’ll be selling into senior stakeholders including C-suite (CEO, CTO, CFO, CDO) and heads of investment operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Owning full-cycle new business sales (no account management bias)
  • Building pipeline via outbound, events, and targeted account engagement
  • Developing relationships across hedge funds, PE firms, and asset managers
  • Running complex, consultative sales processes
  • Positioning multi-product solutions to solve operational/data challenges
  • Leveraging internal product specialists and pre-sales analysts
  • Managing opportunities through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Staying close to market trends and identifying commercial opportunities

What They’re Looking For
  • 2–5 years’ experience in B2B software/solutions sales
  • Proven quota achievement in a new business role
  • Experience selling into the buy-side (hedge funds, PE, asset managers) strongly preferred
  • Background in selling solutions such as:
    • Data / data platforms / analytics
    • OMS / PMS / trade lifecycle tech
    • Regulatory / reporting solutions
    • Treasury / reconciliation / operations tech
    • Managed services / outsourcing
  • Comfortable with enterprise sales motions (multi-stakeholder, long cycles)
  • Strong commercial instinct with a genuine hunter mentality
  • Able to engage credibly with both business and technical stakeholders
