A leading European financial markets infrastructure provider is hiring a senior sales professional to support the commercial growth of its exchange technology business.

The firm develops and licences high-performance trading infrastructure used by exchanges, trading venues and financial institutions globally. Its technology supports mission-critical trading environments where latency, stability and market structure expertise are essential.

Following continued expansion of its technology licensing business, the organisation is investing in senior commercial talent with deep knowledge of equities market structure and electronic trading environments.

The Opportunity
This role sits within a specialist sales team responsible for commercialising exchange and trading infrastructure technology globally.

The position blends strategic account management with new revenue generation, working with sophisticated market participants including exchanges, investment banks, proprietary trading firms and market infrastructure providers.

You will play a key role in identifying new licensing opportunities while also expanding relationships with existing institutional clients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients across global capital markets
  • Identify and originate new opportunities for trading technology licensing
  • Manage a structured pipeline from early engagement through to commercial close
  • Lead complex enterprise sales processes involving technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Coordinate internally with product, engineering and delivery teams during the sales cycle
  • Contribute to the product roadmap by providing feedback from market participants
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and opportunity tracking via CRM systems

  • Understanding of lit / dark venues, central limit order books, auctions and MiFID II dynamics
  • Experience working with tier-one investment banks, exchanges or trading venues
  • Track record engaging with senior stakeholders across trading, technology and market infrastructure teams
