Senior Business Development Manager

Payments | Embedded Finance

Location: London / Hybrid

£80,000 - £100,000 + uncapped commission + benefits

This is a high-impact new business role within a fast-scaling payments and financial-infrastructure provider operating at enterprise scale.

The platform sits at the intersection of payments, banking infrastructure, FX and embedded finance, enabling global money movement across traditional rails and next-generation payment models via a single API.

Backed by a strong regulatory footprint and trusted by hundreds of enterprise clients, the business is processing tens of billions annually and continues to expand across high-growth verticals.

You’ll join the new business sales team - supported by product, engineering, compliance and delivery - with full ownership of complex, high-value sales cycles.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Originating and developing a high-quality pipeline across fintech, financial services and regulated industries
  • Leading end-to-end enterprise sales cycles: discovery ? solution design ? negotiation ? close
  • Delivering tailored commercial and technical propositions to senior stakeholders
  • Co-creating solutions with clients across payments, FX, accounts, on/off-ramps and embedded finance use cases
  • Managing contract and commercial negotiations through to signature
  • Running technical and product-led conversations alongside engineering and product teams
  • Influencing internal roadmap priorities based on client demand and market insight

What They’re Looking For
  • Strong understanding of payments, banking-as-a-service, modern treasury, FX or embedded finance
  • Background selling into complex or regulated verticals (e.g. fintech, financial institutions, crypto, trading, acquiring, marketplaces) – Crypto is highly desirable
  • Proven success owning full sales cycles and consistently delivering against revenue targets
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder, high-value, consultative sales engagements
  • Commercially credible with the ability to translate technical capability into client value
  • Existing industry network and strong market awareness
  • Naturally proactive, competitive and self-driven — this is a hunter role, not account management

Why This Role
  • Enterprise-grade platform with real scale and credibility
  • Strong internal support across product, engineering and delivery
  • Clear growth trajectory with scope to progress into leadership
  • Market-leading benefits package, including:
  • £3,000 personal development budget
  • Enhanced pension and private health cover
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday day off
  • Early Friday finish
  • Gym, cycle-to-work and lifestyle perks
