Senior Sales Executive

Global Payments & Risk Technology

UK-based (Remote-first, with London workspace access)
Europe & Latin America initially
£90,000 base + uncapped commission

This is a hands-on senior sales role within an early-stage fintech operating at the intersection of payments, risk and advanced analytics.

The business is backed by a top-tier venture investor, has a small, globally distributed team, and is helping payment companies understand merchant risk in far more depth, to then use that insight to enable growth.

They are now looking for a proven, senior individual contributor to personally drive revenue across Europe and Latin America, with scope to influence global expansion over time.

Why This Role Is Different
  • Highly consultative, customised sales
  • Each opportunity involves deep discovery, bespoke pricing, and tailored commercial structures — closer to insurance or risk solutions than standard SaaS.
  • You’ll own deals end-to-end and close business yourself.
  • Global travel, and full sales-cycle ownership.
  • Large, complex deals
  • £250k–£1.5m deal sizes, with an annual personal target of £1–2m.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Owning and delivering revenue targets across Europe and Latin America
  • Leading complex, consultative sales cycles with acquirers, payment facilitators and payment platforms
  • Engaging senior commercial, risk, compliance and technical stakeholders
  • Building go-to-market approaches and sales materials alongside leadership
  • Acting as the voice of the customer internally - shaping product and roadmap priorities
  • Representing the business at key industry events and conferences
  • Supporting the early foundations of marketing and brand presence

What They’re Looking For
  • 7+ years in quota-carrying sales roles within payments or adjacent fintech
  • Proven experience selling non-standard, highly customised solutions
  • Strong network across payment companies (acquirers, PayFacs, PSPs, platforms)
  • Demonstrable history of closing £1m+ in personal annual revenue
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a lean, high-expectation environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally (Europe regularly, APAC periodically)

Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Exposure to insurance or risk-led commercial models
  • Experience building or scaling early-stage sales functions
  • US market exposure
  • Experience working effectively in long-term remote environments

Location & Working Style
  • Remote-first, globally distributed team
  • Access to a London workspace for collaboration
  • Regular international travel expected

Interview Process
                  1.             Initial 20–30-minute screening with the commercial lead
                  2.             Deep-dive commercial discussion
                  3.             Panel interview including case study and role-play
                  4.             Final culture and leadership fit conversation

This role suits a credible, commercially sharp salesperson who still enjoys being in the detail - navigating complex buying processes, shaping bespoke deals, and closing meaningful revenue personally.

If you’re looking for autonomy, influence, and genuinely challenging sales cycles in a high growth fintech, this is worth a conversation.
