Onboarding a new employee should not simply be an agenda for the first day; it should be an action plan for progression, encapsulating factors that ensure excellent talent is retained and supported. We received a record number of submissions for this category in 2022, marking a welcomed shift in how employers are approaching the talent experience in financial technology.
We were delighted to recognise Calastone as this year's winner of The Best Employee Onboarding Experience category in The Top 1% Workplace Awards! The judging panel were impressed by the team's ability to implement a thorough and tailored onboarding experience that ensures each new employee is able to make an impact across the breadth of the business from day one. The judging panel wanted to recognise Cashflow's desire to continuously improve. They have created an environment where every individual, irrespective of tenure, feels confident in offering feedback. Their onboarding process never becomes stagnant and always reflects evolving demands.
