Harrington Starr is proud to be partnering with an innovative electronic trading firm that has revolutionised trading and transaction workflows for over 100 financial firms, enhancing efficiency, insight, and agility through expertly assembled systems and cutting-edge technologies.
They are looking to hire a team of forward thinking people who can design, build and maintain applications using their industry leading proprietary low code/no code platforms.
This role does not require any previous core coding experience but ideally successful candidates will have some generic technology and functional skills.
It will be excellent if candidates could have some NOT all of the below requirements:
- Studied or trained in computer science, engineering, natural sciences or a related field
- Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in application development and technical system analysis
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP REST, SOAP, XML and JSON
- Ability to work with tools like SVN, Git, JIRA
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL/Oracle)
- Knowledge of Javascript, TCL or other script programming languages
- Confident use of shell scripting (Bash / Unix)
- Fluent English skills
- Analytical thinking; structured and targeted approach
- Willingness to work in an innovative and international team
- Strong customer and service orientation
