About the Company: A leading provider of liquidity to global derivatives markets, specialising in options market making, is seeking a dedicated DevOps/Build Engineer to join its dynamic team. This company leverages proprietary technology to stay ahead of market trends and drive innovation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Balance rapid deployment with system stability and security.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable, and secure development.
  • Utilize automated testing, monitoring, and logging tools for staging and production environments.
  • Optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines with strategies like parallel jobs and caching.
  • Manage complex multi-team projects using GitLab features such as triggers and multi-project pipelines.
  • Scale Jenkins with nodes, task assignments, or cloud resources.
  • Implement Jenkins pipelines using Jenkinsfile and Groovy scripts.

  • Practical Application: Proven CI/CD experience enhancing development speed and reliability.
  • Tools and Techniques: Proficiency in automated testing, monitoring, logging, and safe deployment management.
  • Problem-solving and Strategy: Clear risk management strategies for rapid changes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Effective team collaboration for smooth deployments.
  • GitLab Proficiency: Experience with optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines for complex projects.
  • Jenkins Expertise: Ability to scale Jenkins and implement code-based pipelines.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven DevOps/Build Engineer experience.
  • Strong CI/CD principles and practices knowledge.
  • GitLab and Jenkins experience, including pipeline optimization.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools.
