Windows Enterprise Team Lead - London - Hybrid - Windows Server, Azure AD, Virtualisation, InTune, Leadership - £80,000-£90,000 basic salary

A global financial technology company who are the market leaders in institutional execution of FX and crypto currency trading are making a crucial hire in their London office. The Windows Enterprise Team Lead will be a technically minded motivated individual willing to take ownership of their whole Windows services.  You will act as a 3^rd line escalation for the two engineers you directly manage.

In this role, you are responsible for the administration of Azure Active Directory whilst delivering a key role in their Azure cloud strategy. This team is responsible for maintaining both on-prem and cloud-based windows deployments.

Main duties:

• Team management for 2nd and 3rd line engineering functions
• Windows Server and desktop management
• Maintain effective security controls around Zero Trust and conditional access
• Ensuring the effectiveness of operational tasks such as application patching, asset inventory

As the role evolves:

• Scripting and automating processes to ensure consistency and repeatability
• Use orchestration to automate cloud builds
• Manage budgets related to Enterprise Systems
• Design suitable solutions to interesting and unusual requirements

Requirements and background in:

• Self-starting people person, with a sense of ownership and drive
• Azure (AD, Access management, cloud access)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2019
• Windows 10/11
• InTune
• Virtualization (HyperV)
