Trade Floor Support Engineer – London – Microsoft Suite, DNS, DHCP, Trading technologies, Cloud – up to £60,000 (conditional to experience)

A boutique trading firm who offer services in multiple derivatives across the globe are hiring within their IT department. In this role, you will support a group of 50 end users in a fast-paced trading environment whereby you will be involved in all aspects of IT from support, project delivery, system administration and more.

You will work alongside 1 other Trade Floor Support Engineer in order to have somebody onsite every day to fulfil requests of traders. So having the ability to express yourself, work calmly under pressure and be proactive in a pressurised situation is vital.

Some responsibilities of the role will entail:

• Desktop support, setting up PCs, installing graphics cards and set up operating systems
• Identifying, diagnosing and resolving technical issues
• Configuring and repairing workstations
• Working directly with the Head of IT to simplify processes and improve business outcomes
• Project involvement

Skillsets and requirements:

• MS office suite
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Trading technologies (Bloomberg/Reuters terminal, Stellar)
• Financial market experience 
• Linux (desirable)
• Cisco (desirable)
