We're working with a profitable FinTech who need a Technical Architect with financial markets experience to work across six engineering teams and ensure the firm keeps moving in the right direction.
This is a newly created role that also comes with an element of product ownership.
The core platform works on high volume data analytics that are close to becoming industry standard in the Hedge Fund sector.
You should have an excellent technical / development background, ideally in a large-scale finance system. Experience as a technical leader would be preferable, but if you’re a senior engineer now who is looking to progress and are able to demonstrate the necessary architectural attributes, you will be given the chance to shine.
As well as strong Python knowledge, experience with some of the following will be useful (what you don't know, full training will be provided):
The interview process is as follows:
1. You spend 30 minutes talking to the Head of Development - he will run through your CV and talk to you in detail about the role.
2. Technical VC interview - approx 90 – 120 minutes with the Head of Dev and a senior engineer, talking through systems designs and design patterns
4. Chat with the CEO, who'll give you a broader overview of the business goals and make sure you're up for the ride!
That's it.
These roles are only open to British citizens, EU Citizens with UK residency or candidates with ILR - unfortunately no Tier 2-5 Visa will be able to apply on this occasion.
