Strategic Account Manager – Automation, Fintech, Capital Markets

The company

A rapidly growing providing of software to the capital markets, investment management and insurance sectors is looking to add a Strategic Account Manager to their team in London. My client has achieved 30%+ year on year growth by offering solutions that support the automation of typically labour intensive tasks. Their enviable client list includes many of the best known banks and financial institutions globally and they are looking for someone to manage some of their strategic customers.

The role

  • Maintaining and enhancing the strength of the relationship with a group of key customers ensuring a high degree of client satisfaction and use of the solutions
  • Build relationships with key client stakeholders and support revenue growth of the accounts by identifying upsell opportunities
  • Act as the central point of contact between various client stakeholders and sponsors and  internal teams
  • Ensure that client needs are delivered to in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide regular account status update to senior management including pipeline, key metrics, and forecasts
  • Work with the sales, delivery and development teams to ensure that issues are dealt with efficiently and commercial opportunities are maximised  

Requirements

  • Experience in an account management role relating to financial software
  • The ability to communicate and build relationships with client management including CXO level
  • Strong CRM and MS Office skills
  • Able to manage concurrent and often competing client activities
  • Proven record of supporting the protection and growth of account revenues
