A global fintech are hiring an expert SQL Engineer to be the go-to technical specialist across three large, globally distributed data engineering and development teams.
You will be working across a wide range of projects from: technical migrations, to new-builds for regulatory requirements, to interactions and adaptors for government agencies.
You will already have awesome SQL skills. Not just scripting, but an expert in stored procedures and data manipulation. You will also be experienced with SSIS.
This team work very closely with software development teams and follow very good development practices, if you’ve worked in an Agile way – Scrum / Kanban, that will be a big bonus.
This firm offer a first-class working environment and understand that their people are their biggest asset. Whilst the role is almost fully remote, you would be encouraged to meet with your teams 2-3 times each month in the state of the art Leeds-based offices, where everything is designed to make you feel comfortable and productive, from free parking to free breakfast and lunch.
