Our client is revolutionizing the financial industry by leveraging cutting-edge technology and data analytics to provide actionable insights and solutions to their clients. As they continue to grow and expand their operations, we are assisting them in finding a talented and driven Site Reliability Engineer to join their team.

Position Overview: As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our client's systems. You will work closely with their development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain their infrastructure and automation tools. Your expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and Python will be vital in optimizing their systems and maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our client's cloud-based infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and availability of their systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation and tooling solutions to enhance their development and deployment processes.
• Participate in capacity planning and scaling efforts to ensure their infrastructure meets the demands of their growing user base.
• Implement and maintain effective monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure the security and compliance of their systems by following best practices and industry standards.
• Continuously improve their infrastructure and processes by staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Excellent programming skills in Python for automation and scripting purposes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
