Superb opportunity for a Project Manager to join a global organisation with a superb brand and a multi billion pound turnover to work in a cutting edge software development environment.

This is an unrivaled opportunity to work one of the world's most recognised brand, and will suit a senior PM who has worked they way up from a software development position.

Key accountabilities will  include:

Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver web application projects successfully on time and to specification

Complete thorough business analysis and capture new requirements or enhancements

Produce UI designs to be developed that meet business requirements, putting the user experience front and centre.

Closely manage the engineering team, and drive technical Proof of Concepts

Create technical documentation and training material

Assist support teams on complex support tickets by logically thinking through problems and providing guidance

Interact with and present to stakeholders at different levels (and geographical regions)


Key skills need are:


Proven experience in an IT project management role, preferably developing web applications across the whole software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Autonomously manage projects of varying scale and complexity

Knowledge and working experience of Waterfall, Agile and Scrum methodologies

Experience working with database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB or similar)

Understanding and knowledge of object oriented programming languages 

Ability to build and develop strong partnerships with multiple stakeholder groups Strong facilitation skills (requirements gathering, design meetings, status meetings and leading workshops)

Proven expertise in the creation of project plans, management of risks, ability to capture, manage and report complex technical projects 

Experience of building/recruiting and managing offshore development teams to deliver best-in class solutions

Excellent analytical skills

Aptitude for grasping new technical concepts

Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial to your success in this role

Candidates should be educated to degree level, and possess at least one formal project management qualification.
