Perm - £60000 - £100000 plus bonus and benefits

Harrington is working with one leading Software Vendors in the city that specialise in building Market Data Software for their clients and now in the market for a Senior Software Engineer with experience working and deploying AWS Cloud technologies including knowledge with Kafka.
This is a great opportunity to join a Leading organisation that is driven by technology and work with some of the smartest brains in the business.

As the Senior Software Engineer you will join a small but highly dynamic team of 7 Software Engineers. The role will be to focus on delivering projects for the purpose of improving performance and scalability to enrich their client’s usability and improve trading productivity.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud based technology
  • Solid Development with Kafka
  • Solid experience with Spark
  • Solid Development with either Java, C# or/ Python.
  • Client Web Technologies using Javascript and its frameworks.
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Excellent academics from Engineering, Scientific or Mathematics discipline.
  • Preference of Financial Services Tech knowledge but not essential.
