The company

A rapidly growing provider of trading technology predominantly to sell-side firms is looking for a Senior Sales person to join their team in London (City). Their flexible and modular solutions are capable of providing end to end trading capabilities to even the largest of banks globally. Founded by some of the brightest minds in the industry, my client has quickly established itself as a serious alternative to the established providers of Fixed Income and FX trading solutions.

The role

  • New business sales across the EMEA region
  • Generating pipeline and managing multiple, complex sales processes
  • Work with senior management and product to devise solutions to meet specific client requirements utilising the considerable and talented technical resources in the company
  • Close business in line with agreed quota
  • Maintain an up to date and accurate sales CRM
  • Channel client feedback into the product team for enhancements and development of functionality
  • Represent the brand at industry events

Requirements

  • Experience selling software/solutions into the capital markets sector
  • Genuine hunter mentality, able to generate prospects and open up sales opportunities from scratch
  • Proven record of meeting sales quota
  • Experience selling high value solutions - £1m+
  • Knowledge of fixed income or FX trading
  • Able to grasp technical concepts and discuss these at a high level with prospective clients
  • Able to work in a small company where responsibilities and tasks can be varied and challenging
