The company

4 year old start-up that helps private equity firms and corporates to source suitable private investments is looking to recruit a Senior Salesperson to join their growing team in London. They have a unique proposition that is quickly gaining traction in the market and is currently unrivalled in its ability to help investors to uncover investment and acquisition opportunities.

Their use of natural language processing and artificial intelligence has allowed them to build a vast and detailed database of private companies that dwarfs traditional database providers. This database forms the basis of the service offered to their customers but they do not sell it directly.

The role

  • This is a new business role and will be entirely focussed on winning business from Private Equity firms in the UK (possibly some other territories TBD)
  • You will need to evangelise the concept of the product which combines technology and services
  • Close new clients and expand revenues from those customers
  • As a global business with 7 offices and a dispersed managed team, you will need to be able to work autonomously


  • Strong network of private equity firms that you can utilise from day one
  • Senior sales experience of 10+ years with the ability to work autonomously
  • Proven record of winning new customers
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the private equity sector and an understanding of the pain points and hurdles they face
