Senior Sales Executive – Risk Analytics, Fintech, Start-up, Equity Investments

The company

A growing provider of equities analytics to the investment management industry is looking to hire an experienced sales person to join their team in London. My client’s innovative solutions support portfolio management decision making and use the latest cloud / SaaS technology to offer quick deployment.

This is a Fintech firm but the solutions is sold to business users on the buy side – clients typically are investment managers and wealth managers

The role

  • New business sales – value selling targeting investment managers and wealth managers in the UK
  • Generating leads through cold calling, networking, events and conferences and your existing network
  • Meeting clients, demonstrating the products and managing a new business pipeline
  • Articulate to prospective clients how the product can be integrated into their existing work flow and increase their alpha generation
  • Closing new business deals in line with your sales quota through a consultative sales approach

Essential Requirements

  • Buy side sales experience – selling market data or software solutions
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience selling to portfolio managers / CIO’s
  • Good knowledge of equities investing/trading
  • Willingness to work in a small team environment
