The company

A growing provider of solutions and services to the European energy trading industry is looking for an experienced Senior Sales professional to take a new product to market with them. Their SaaS based platform has been developed to plug a gap in the market that can offer a clear ROI and cost savings for smaller tier energy trading firms.

The role

  • New business sales across Europe
  • Generate interest and meetings via your contacts, cold calling, marketing campaigns and attending relevant industry events etc
  • Managing the sales cycle and closing deals
  • Providing the product team with client feedback regarding functionality and features
  • Work with senior management to create a sales process

Essential Requirements

  • Experience selling ETRM (or CTRM) solutions, preferably SaaS based
  • Knowledge of the European energy market
  • Willing to travel to meet prospective customers
  • Able to work to a high degree of autonomy
  • Proven record of closing business and meeting sales targets

Preferable

  • Native / business fluency in German
