The company

A leading provider of pricing, risk and trading software used by buy and sell-side customers is looking to hire Senior Sales person from a derivatives structuring background into their London based sales team. They have built a solid reputation for providing best in class solutions that support a range of customers from small hedge funds through to large global banks and corporates.

The company is growing rapidly and they need a derivatives subject matter expert to be part of the team that works on high value deals, driving the sales process from qualified lead through to a successful close

The role

  • Working with a variety of other team members including marketing, lead generation, pre-sales, product management, technology and professional services, you will help to drive a successful sales process
  • Using your knowledge of derivatives to understand what the client is trying to achieve and help to craft solutions to support these needs and challenges
  • Manage the sales process and gain buy-in from all relevant client stakeholders, drawing on expertise from internal team members as required
  • With support from senior management you will manage the contractual and commercial negotiations and then coordinate the transition to the team responsible for delivery the project
  • Provide senior management with regular pipeline and sales forecasts and updates

Requirements

  • A derivatives structuring background – any asset class will be considered but fixed income / credit derivatives would be preferred
  • Good knowledge of risk management and how customers use derivatives products
  • A genuine interest in making a move to fintech
  • Excellent client facing manner
  • Willing to travel in the EMEA region as required to meet customers
