Harrington Starr are proud to be partnered with a global investment bank with offices in London as they seek to grow out their next generation e-trading platform team with the hires of two Senior Java Engineer. Our client boast an already very experienced team, using the very best engineering practices to ensure a world class platform for their customers.

The successful candidate should have 5+ years’ experience working within finance and preferably e-trading specifically. However, if this is an area you have a real interest in but no experience of, and you have a background in finance, my client would want to speak to you.

The Role

• Deliver FX and Fixed income instrument pricing, Dealer to Dealer execution, Dealer to Client quoting and Algo executions.

• Develop and support a low latency etrading platform

• Utilise a DevOps approach to scale technology solutions

• Work within a global team scattered across Europe, Asia and North America

The Package

• Salary up to £130,000

Interview Process

• 1st Stage – Meet and greet with the team, technical discussion around the project and your background

• 2nd Stage – Technical interview in person with the Senior team
