Senior Full-Stack Developer

6 month contract - £550 per day

 

Harrington Starr are currently working with a leading trading house, who are looking to hire a Senior Full-Stack Developer to develop on and technically lead a team building a Greenfield Risk platform. 

 

As the Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java, React, JavaScript) you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to the UI and Web development team as well as connecting it to the relevant server-side components. You will need to be a strong full-stack engineer with a good understanding of both Core Java and JavaScript with Angular as a framework. You will be working closely with the business, gathering requirements and understanding how this new system will best fit their needs. You will have the chance to influence technology decisions and design the architecture of the system.

 

This Trading House are around 250 globally and invest a considerable amount in their technology infrastructure. You will have the chance to work very closely with the business, improve your technical skills and further your career by building out Greenfield systems and using the latest technologies.

 

The Technical Lead (Java, Angular, JavaScript) will need:

  • Strong experience of Core Java Development
  • Strong Web development experience
  • Knowledge of modern frameworks such as React
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Experience in a Financial Services role, particularly in a Risk based function
  • Experience across other development languages such as Python, C#, Scala
