Senior DevOps Engineer – £100,000-£120,000 Basic salary

Work from home policy: Fully remote after a 2 week onsite induction


The company

Harrington Starr is partnering with one of the fastest growing Crypto Fin-Techs in London. This organisation is a market leader that has built their own end-to-end single API platform connecting global crypto exchanges and liquidity providers through their cloud agnostic platform. This FinTech is looking to bring on-board a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the engineering team where you will be influential to the security implementation, automated solutions and security analysis.

What you will do:

  • Assist in gathering and/or reviewing process requirements and assisting on architect design decisions with the rest of the team.
  • Operate and analyse continuous monitoring tools in performing ongoing monitoring tools across the company’s infrastructure.
  • Implement security controls as applicable to ensure enforcement of policies and procedures are running accordingly.
  • Deliver end-to-end automated solutions.


Desired experience in the following:

  • Cloud technologies (GCP is preferred however experience with AWS or Azure is also great)
  • CI/CD platform experience (GitHub Actions or other)
  • Terraform, Pulumi, other automation tools
  • Experience with major identity providers and integrations
  • Good understanding of Linux systems
  • Good understanding of core networking technologies (DNS, LB, firewalls, VPN, routing, NAT)
  • Good understanding of systems architecture
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Digital assets knowledge and experiences would be a bonus
  • Cyber security and cryptography knowledge would be beneficial
