Senior Desktop Support Engineer (Field Engineer / Windows Admin) – San Francisco, $70,000 - $90,000 base salary

Our client, a global Managed Service Provider specialized in white-glove IT support for companies with fast-paced, high-pressure environments such as hedge funds, venture capital and private equity firms, law offices and health care companies, is seeking a mid / senior-level Desktop Support Engineer (Field Engineer / Windows Admin background) in San Francisco with at least 4 years of hands-on technical support experience including:


- Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange

- Installing and Troubleshooting hardware

- Basic network support - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting

- ActiveSync and mobile technology support

- Experience with a ticketing system such as ConnectWise, ServiceNow, or JIRA

- Excellent communications and customer service skills


- Citrix XenApp and/or VMware

- VPN connectivity

- Experience working within a fast-paced environment such as an MSP or financial services (ideally buy-side) company
