A global financial services firm are embarking on a brand-new project to harness the power of the vast quantities of financial data they produce.
The purpose of this role is to work with data warehousing and data management to support process automation – you will be required to build out the user interface and visualisation tools to support business intelligence (BI).
There is a lot of work to be done here, with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.
You will automate key reports into high-value business intelligence, as well as provide secure and accurate data via an ultra-modern data platform to enable process and reporting automation.
This is a well-funded project in an incredibly profitable and well-respected business with a large, global client-base.
Previous experience of working in a financial services organisation could prove advantageous but is not a requirement.
You should be experienced with data modelling, cleansing and enrichment, with experience in logical and physical data modelling and data cleansing and standardisation.
You should have knowledge of ETL Tools and processes (e.g SSIS, ODI, Informatica, Data Factory) as well as Power BI and SQL Server Databases.
The firm are currently working with MS Azure and associated tools.
This is a high-profile project with the potential to very quickly contribute to the bottom line of a hugely successful business, all in an environment that allows solutions to be implemented quickly without unnecessary layers of bureaucracy and red tape.
