Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer - Up to £95,000 basic salary + benefits + EMI options
The company
This is an opportunity for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join an award winning data and analytics company at the heart of London. They are a fast growing fintech operating at the cutting edge of Machine Leading and Big Data in Financial Services. The company consumes 250GB of new data across 750,000 securities to deliver into their platform, dashboard products and data services to customers, who are dependent on our data services for their own workflows.
Join a technical team that are responsible for designing and building the core infrastructure that support their products. This role would be perfect for someone that has had a taste of leadership and is looking to gain more exposure leading.

What you will do
Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure standards across the IT organisation including networking, storage, and compute stacks.
Work closely with the various development (especially SREs), and ops team, to facilitate them being able to deliver services and features that meet and support internal standards and compliance needs.
Be involved in Information Security process, delivery, automation and governance - supporting the CISO.
What you will need
You may come from a software engineering or system engineering background.
Strong AWS Experience with emphasis on a combination of EC2, API Gateway, ELB/NLB, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda.
Infrastructure as Code projects: Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
CI/CD pipeline delivery projects: Jenkins, CodePipeline, or equivalent.
Managing containers on AWS (Fargate & ECS).
Demonstrable experience of delivery as part of an agile project team.
Understanding of AWS networking such as DNS, CIDR, Security Groups and NACLs.
