Our client is a successful and independent fund administrator, now planning for its next stage of accelerated strategic growth in the UK. The company provides added value support services in fund management accounting, investor reporting, compliance, and other administrative services.

We are looking for a Senior Business Development professional who will be responsible for selling middle and back office fund administration, risk analysis and reporting, and transaction solutions to the investment management community. This position will be based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement clearly defined goals and activities to develop pipeline and build a business plan
  • Selling platform and services into the Alternative Investments space targeting medium to larger Investment Management, Private Equity and Hedge Funds clients
  • Adopt and adhere to sales process including, qualification, positioning and strategy
  • Devise a business development plan for campaigns and effort for driving growth
  • Create and implement account strategies/plans to address opportunities
  • Deliver sales presentation encapsulating all unique selling propositions and value propositions
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
  • Cold/warm Calling, Prospecting, Meeting new Clients and Prospects
  • Provide feedback to management of functions about new requirements and trends
  • Ownership and management of legal contracts with client.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience within a Front-line Software Sales environment
  • Experience selling software to the Investment Management space – is essential
  • Understanding of the Hedge Fund/Private Equity industry – is essential
  • Ideally experience working with another Fin Tech Vendor selling software solutions – is essential
  • Strong live contact network in medium and large - Investment Management, Private Equity and Hedge Funds clients
  • Excellent working knowledge of back office functions
  • Strong business domain knowledge is essential
  • Experience of business development senior C level
  • Highly motivated and driven individual
  • Bachelors Degree  - Top tier academics – Red Brick (or equivalent) University – 2.1 or better
