Senior AWS DevOps Engineer - Fintech Trading Automation - Germany

Position: AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer - SaaS Cloud Infrastructure

Locations: Frankfurt, Siegburg, or Remote in Germany

Remote Status: Hybrid

Salary: €70,000 - 90,000 + benefits + bonus

Join our Fintech client, a pioneer in Trading Automation and Workflow Management, as an AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our diverse and distributed cloud infrastructure team, contributing to the development and optimization of our cutting-edge SaaS hybrid cloud platform.

What you'll be doing:

As an experienced AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer, you'll collaborate with a team of seasoned professionals to plan, develop, and support our SaaS hybrid cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in cloud-native and hybrid cloud environments will drive the optimization of performance, security, features, and cost-effectiveness. Active engagement with product development teams, CI/CD, and automation are crucial aspects of this role. Additionally, your support will extend to handling incidents, change requests, and solving complex issues.

What you'll need:

• Several years of relevant experience and strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services.
• Proficiency in technologies like containerization, GitLab, AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, CI/CD, and automation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform, Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of load balancers, web servers, databases, and microservice architectures.
• Analytical thinking, initiative, and result-focused approach to projects.

Highly beneficial experience:

• Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Expert DevOps Engineer with a deep understanding of AWS services, DevOps principles, and cloud architecture.
• Ability to design and manage complex CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong command of IaC using Terraform.
• Solid grasp of security best practices, compliance, and risk management in cloud environments.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
