Harrington Starr has partnered with a global top tier hedge fund who are looking to scale their information security team this year., due to a recently launched digital division within their portfolio This role will have all responsibility for Governance Risk & Compliance to ensure that the organization has best in-class risk controls, policies and in-house awareness whilst ensuring compliance to frameworks including SOC 2, NIST and ISO27001

Key accountabilities will include:

• Defining all cyber security policies

• Acting as a central point of contact for all internal and external audits

• Working with the group CISO on risk assessments

• Working with technical teams on control frameworks

• Taking ownership of all third party risk management

Key skills needed:

• Experience in a senior security risk and compliance role within a financial services environment ideally with a strong understanding of blockchain and/ or cryptocurrency

• Fully conversant with NIST, SOC 2 ISO27001 and other information security frameworks

• Stakeholder management up to C level

• CISSP or CISM certified preferred
