Sales Specialist – A fin-tech sales hunter selling customized news and market data (DaaS) to both buy and sell side clientele.
Our client is an established global Financial Technology firm which provides customized data, news, and analytic API’s are looking for a Sales Hunter with experience selling enterprise DaaS software to both the buy and sell side.
Our client provides customized market data API feeds that enable financial institutions to better solve various business issues. Their DaaS software helps build solutions ranging from light news headlines to implementing search forms within a CRM system. They service both buy and sell side firms globally as well as traditional corporations. They are one of the leading companies in this space and are used by some of the largest companies in the world.
-5-10 years’ experience selling DaaS software to either buy or sell side firms.
-Experience with Enterprise long term level sales cycles (6m-1yr).
-Full understanding of the Big Data space, how it affects the market and the best way to utilize its importance to generate new revenue.
-Preferred experience with AI, machine learning, and API functionality. Must be technically sound.
-Proven track record of hitting annual quota, ideally within the fin-tech market space.
-Excellent presentation, business writing, analytical and oral communication skills.
-College/University degree required, MBA preferred.
-Managing the full sales cycle and consistently have a heavy hunter mentality (40+ calls daily). Right candidate must generate sales leads, drive the on-boarding process and close accounts.
-Candidates must actively pursue both Buy and Sell side clients. This will range from Hedge funds and asset managers to execution desks and brokerage firms. Also, traditional corporations.
-Will be reporting to the Head of Enterprise Sales daily and help coordinate sales strategies and building rapport with clients.
-Be well versed in the Big Data marketspace and understanding of how it can be used to reduce costs for clients and grow revenue internally.
-Perform sales presentations/demonstrations to further the client’s knowledge of the software and solve/prevent any queries.
-Achieve/exceed sales objectives and quotas through the expansion and growth of business relationships (market share) with new clients using a calculated and process-driven approach.
