Sales Manager – Equities, Exchange, Trading

The company

A leading exchange is looking to recruit a Sales Manager who will be responsible for increasing revenues for my client’s equities business. You will work with leading financial firms to understand their needs and deliver solutions to encourage them to trade or increase trading activity through my client.

The role

  • Increase equities trade flow via existing and new clients
  • Travel to meet clients and attend relevant industry events in Europe
  • Build strong relationships with key client and prospective client decision makers  
  • Monitor daily trading activity, troubleshoot issues and work with clients to ensure the best possible standards are maintained working with internal team where needed to resolve issues
  • Upsell new products and services and be proactive in increase trading volumes from existing clients
  • Work with products team to ensure client are offered the products and services they need
  • Maintain and up to date and accurate CRM
  • Ad hoc tasks as required


  • Experience working in sales within the equities trading market space
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quota
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior client management
  • Excellent understanding of the financial markets and key industry drivers
