Sales, Hedge funds, London based
We are looking for a sales professional ideally with 3-7 years relevant experience to join our European team.
Responsibilities
- Personally undertaking and leading the entire sales cycle from cold calling (or occasionally from initial contact where there is a referral) through the stages of requirements definition, management of RFIs/RFPs, presentations, and closing the deal
- Leading pitches and presentations
- Maximising revenue opportunities for the company, and delivering to an annual sales quota
- Commercial and contract negotiations
- Providing feedback internally and keeping up to date information and reporting through Salesforce.com
- Periodic representation at industry conferences
- Problem solving; turning requirements into solutions
Qualifications
- Ambitious and driven individual with the energy to seek and exploit new opportunities
- In depth knowledge of electronic trading in equities and listed derivatives, while some exposure to other asset classes e.g. Fixed Income would be beneficial
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent in Finance or Business
- 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience in an electronic trading and/or order management role, preference with a vendor or bank and/or broker
- Relevant, up to date hedge fund contacts in London and other European pockets e.g. Nordics
- Foreign language skills would be advantageous but not essential
