Sales Director - Selling risk and execution management solutions
An established global Financial Technology firm which provides online software that offers better ways to execute trades and manager risk are looking for a Sales Executive with experience selling electronic trading platforms software to fin-tech firms.
-Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in sales/account management in the financial technology capital industry.
-Experience selling trading platforms.
-Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
-Full understanding of short-medium term sales cycles selling Financial Services software.
-Proven track record of transactional sales, ideally within the fin-tech market space.
-Excellent presentation, business writing, analytical and oral communication skills.
-College/University degree required, MBA preferred.
-Managing the full sales cycle, providing financial services by generating sales leads, driving the on-boarding process and closing accounts.
-Must understand OTC Derivatives, especially IRS, CDS, and FX forwards.
-Understand market and credit risk, industry infrastructure, central clearing, and trade data fields.
-Will be responsible for generating new business and upselling to current client base.
-Be well versed in the financial technology marketspace and understanding of cloud services, having market, platform, and competitor knowledge.
-Achieve/exceed sales quotas through the expansion and growth of business relationships (market share) with new clients using a consultative and process-driven approach.
-Perform sales presentations/demonstrations to further the client’s knowledge of the software and solve/prevent any queries.
