The company

Harrington Starr has partnered with a trading and risk software provider.  My clients solution is used by buy and sell-side institutions and we are looking to hire someone who is solution focused, ideally someone who comes from the end users background.  Privately owned and founded almost 20 years ago, my client has built a fantastic reputation for itself across the market and is looking to expand its operations and footprint across the UK.
 

The Role

  • This is a solution sales role, targeting Asset Managers and Hedge Funds 
  • Work with marketing on campaigns and build a solid pipeline
  • Partner with the inside sales team and carry the conversation from discovery phase to closing 
  • Collective approach to securing revenue
  • Maintain an up to date and accurate sales CRM
  • Represent the brand at relevant industry events
  • Identify business problems and how the solution can mitigate risk and create a better end user experience
  • Demo the solution to prospect as an SME 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Financial Services experience 
  • An understanding of the financial markets, asset classes 
  • Consultative sales approach where you are able to overcome objections and find solutions to prospective client needs
