My client are a global operator of electronic marketplaces for rates, credit, equities and money markets. They provide Market Data through various solutions to evaluate pre and post-trading.
In this role you will be responsible for helping sell a suite of market data products including data, regulatory, analytic, and research related offerings.
Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the European Head of Market Data Sales, this role is responsible for executing the Market Data sales strategy while partnering with the relevant internal teams
Define, execute and own a comprehensive territory engagement plan and leverage that plan to help build, manage and close a robust pipeline
Deliver solutions to clients and prospects through a consultative selling process
Understand range of Market Data Solutions to help existing customer benefit from product enhancements as well as current offering to keep users engaged with our services.
Role will necessitate developing strong company relationships and managing processes and strategies utilizing the help of multiple internal groups
Work with European and United Kingdom sales to help manage and build pipeline based on new product offerings-using Salesforce as a pipeline management tool.
Required Qualifications:
Established contact base and influence within target financial institutions and market data redistributors
3 + years track record of recent sales quota carrying experience in the market data space.
Experience prospecting and closing large-scale deals within the Financial Services industry
Ability to build external relationships and converse with/educate/sell clients on the entire suite of market data products
Ability to generate new sales and opportunities, as well as providing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts, reports and analysis to upper management
