Our client specializes in delivering global network services, across their low latency global network and dedicated cloud services. The company has a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture with a strategic business plan of growth. The company is headquartered in France, however also holds offices in London, Hong Kong, New York etc.

The current team in the London office consists of approximately 30 people, and this is rapidly growing year on year. They are big enough to get the job done, but small enough to care.

Due to dynamic growth, they are now hiring an ambitious, driven and keen graduate, who is eager to learn and develop a career within the telecommunications space and especially focus on the financial and media sectors.

The role

Account management for small/mid-sized clients

Elements of new business development - follow up inbound leads, cold calling, and attending meeting

Shadow the senior sales teams, learn from top performers and develop own area of expertise

Provide support to the Marketing and Senior Sales teams, working on dynamic campaigns

Excel against soft targets in order to progress to the next career step

 

Skills and knowledge required:

Our client is fairly open-minded regarding your direct experience, but they are looking for an individual with the right attitude and aptitude – here are the basics:

  • Educated to degree level, preferably in something technical
  • Some client facing or sales experience
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Highly interested in IT (IaaS, Cloud, IoT, Hybrid Cloud)
  • Social Media savvy (Twitter, LinkedIn etc)
  • Able to plan ahead and proactively seek new business opportunities
  • Strong communication skills – comfortable in giving presentations and writing proposals
