Sales Executive – FinTech, Start-Up, Investment management, London

Up to £100,000 DOE + commission + benefits + discretionary stock options

The company

One of the biggest start-up success stories in the past few years in Fintech is looking to add a technically minded (from experience or educational background) Sales Executive to their team in London. Their platform is revolutionising how investment managers access and utilise investment data.

The role

  • New business sales target buy-side (and potentially sell-side customers)
  • Build a sales pipeline and close business in line with agreed annual quota
  • Work with pre-sales to arrange and deliver product demonstrations for early stage opportunities and workshops/POC’s for advanced stage
  • Provide the product team with customer feedback to support the enhancement and development of the platform
  • Represent the business and relevant industry and networking events

 

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in a sales or presales role (3+ years)
  • Technical background – either from a Computer Science degree (or similar) or from previous experience in a client facing technical role
  • Experience selling or supporting sales of a technical/complex/enterprise/high value product
  • At least a basic understanding of the financial markets / investment management
  • Excellent client facing skills
