The company

Leading, global provider of solutions across trading, risk, regulation is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team in London (City). My client is a growing business with a broad suite of products used by many of the world’s biggest and best-know buy and sell-side firms. They are looking for someone to sell their regulatory solutions and will provide full training.

The role

  • New business sales targeting financial services companies that require regulatory solutions for MiFID II, EMIR, Brexit and more
  • Working with the consulting team to demonstrate and devise solutions that meet client needs
  • Develop a list of prospective clients that either need a regulatory reporting solution or are nearing the point where they are ready to change provider
  • Build and manage a pipeline of business
  • Close business with the support of the Sales Director

Requirements

  • Sales experience – 4+ years
  • Knowledge of the financial markets and how they have been affected by regulation
  • Proven ability to build relationships and win business
  • Contacts in the buy-side and/or sell-side banks and brokerages
  • Able to overcome objections and influence
