Sales Executive – Fintech, Portfolio Management

£40,000 - £80,000 depending on experience + commission + benefits

The company

A leading provider of SaaS solutions that supports their client’s investment decision making and managing their portfolios is looking to recruit two salespeople into their London based sales team. They are growing steadily and need to replace team members who are relocating to a new international office. My client has been successful by quickly reacting to client needs and ensuring that their product has the features and functionality to stay ahead of their competition.

The role

  • New business sales targeting investment firms
  • Generating leads using the CRM, databases, in-bound enquiries and attending relevant events
  • Meeting prospective clients and demonstrating the product
  • Managing the sales process and closing deals in line with your sales quota
  • Providing feedback ito the product team to support product enhancement


  • 3+ years of experience in fintech sales
  • Good knowledge of the financial markets – funds and ETFs would be of particular interest
  • Proven record of closing business and meeting targets
  • Ability to build strong rapport with prospective customers and influence their buying decisions
  • Willingness to cold-call and do high levels of prospecting to ensure a strong pipeline of potential customers
  • Able to produce high quality sales documentation including proposals
