Circa £45,000 + commission + benefits

The company

A growing provider of SaaS equity analytics solutions that help Investment Managers to make better equity and ETF investment decisions is looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their team in London (City). The business was funded by a former Portfolio Manager who previously built and sold another high-profile analytics business. In a market space where Investment Managers are seeking fresh insight to help generate better returns for their customers, my client’s solutions have demonstrated a clear return on investment for their existing customers.

The role

  • Researching the UK, European and APAC buy-side market using databases and other sources such as LinkedIn to identify prospective customers  
  • Calling prospective customers – typically portfolio managers or analysts at Asset Management and Wealth Management firms
  • Introducing them to the company and products and securing meetings for the Senior Sales people
  • Ensuring Salesforce is updated with relevant notes
  • Supporting the sales team with ad hoc tasks as required during the sales process


  • Previous cold-calling / lead generation experience (or a genuine desire to move into a sales position)
  • A basic understanding of the asset classes and the role of the buy-side
  • Tenacity and confidence in delivering a compelling introduction and overcoming initial objections
