£40,000 - £120,000 depending on level of experience, business knowledge and coding skills + stock options

The company

A well-funded and rapidly growing fintech start-up is looking for a number of Sales Engineers to join their team in London (City). They have built a platform that brings together disparate sources of data into a central source, drastically improving the efficiency around how investment managers, vendors and custodians interact.

This game-changing product has already caught the attention of a number of high-profile customers and investors and they are on course for another stellar year in 2020.

The role

  • Sitting between sales, product and engineering – your role is to support the sales process using a mixture of product and technical skills
  • Product demonstrations, answering technical queries, live coding sessions with customers
  • Understanding what clients need from the product and communicating these to the product team to see if they should be included in the product roadmap
  • Using your strong C#, Python or Java skills and the relevant SDK to create solutions for customers in real-time to show how flexible and capable the platform is
  • Support the sales team with ad hoc tasks as required

  • This role has two key criteria – good coding skills in one of the following languages – C#, Python or Java and excellent client facing and presentation skills. This would suit a developer that wants to be client facing or someone with a sales engineering / pre-sales background that can code
  • Knowledge of investment management systems and the investment cycle would be nice but can be taught
  • The role will be diverse in the tasks you will undertake and candidates should be willing to embrace a challenge and relish the chance to solve new problems on a daily basis

What’s in it for you? Where to start…

  • Join a start-up that has both financial backing and is being used by some of the biggest names in software, investment management and back office
  • Join a business that was three times oversubscribed for the last round of funding
  • Casual office attire, flexible working, pizza on Fridays, plenty of social events, collaborative team environment and that the chance to learn in abundance from experts in finance and technology
  • Your contribution will have a last impact on the business as you will be the conduit between what the client wants and what the product team incorporate into the product roadmap
  • Earn stock options in a business tipped for huge success
